Mini Makeup Haul!

Hey Everybody!

I'm really sorry I haven't been active and that's due to the fact that I went camping and recently I have been busy but I'm back now! So today, (if you haven't already gathered) I am doing a mini makeup haul! So lets get started...

Firstly I purchased the Collection Get The Colour, Eye Crayon- in the colour Vanilla Sky. Previously, I purchased a seventeen eye crayon similar to this but it didn't really do the job for me personally. So I thought I would try again with this one and I haven't used it properly yet so I'm not sure on what to expect. Although I have seen good reviews on this product. This was £4.
Next, I picked up the newly released Maybelline Colour Tattoo- in the shade Pink Gold. It's an amazing creamy shimmering eye shadow with hints of rich gold glimmers. It stays on for the whole day so there is no need top up on it, it is extremely pigmented and works well with lots of other different shadows! I'm not sure how much this was.

In Superdrug there is this deal(with MUA) that if you spend more than £8 on MUA you get a free  MUA limited 5th birthday pallet! Obviously, I couldn't resist, so me and my friend went to town as soon as we possibly could and delved in! So, I got the MUA Blush Perfection, Cream Blush in bittersweet. It's a soft creamy consistency full of summer mid-tone pinks. It was £1
Then, I got the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (unfortunately, it doesn't say what the shade is)It's very aesthetically pleasing as they have made the highlighter look like waves to create depth in the pan! It really highlights my cheek bones leaving them with a clean shimmering look! It was  £3.
Also, I got a MUA Eye shadow Pallet (Heaven & Earth) I'm so pleased with this pallet because its soooo pigmented and has a gorgeous variety of shimmering browns! The colours:(from top right corner to bottom left corner) Auara, Amazonion Bronze, Myan Dust, Valley, Golden Sand, Riff, Amber Dune,Catacomb, Tectonite, Canyon and Bedrock. This was £4.

Meaning, I got for free the MUA 5th Birthday Limited Eye shadow Pallet! This has to be one of their best pallets yet because the colours are all so strong an pigmented with a selection of shimmers, mattes, nudes, and bright colours! The colours are: (from top right corner to bottom left) Taffy, Reveal, Peacherine, Penny, Fiery, siren, Shell, Thistle, Chino, Cool Grey, Obsessed and Smoke.

Lastly, to apply my new blush and highlighter I brought myself The Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush. I have already fallen in love with this, its perfect for travelling has the perfect angle to apply all your powdered products and blends really easily. Even though this product was £12.99 it was defiantly worth the money!
Thanks for reading the post and comment down below which product you would like to see me do a review on! Bye!

Rivision Tips

Hello Everybody!

For starters, I just want to apologies for not posting on time and its because I was busy yesterday so I am posting now, (on a Saturday.) But, today as its exam season for a lot of you I am going to be posting my tips, (that you may already know) on revision!
P.S. I don't really revise that often but this is all the things that I could think of that would help me, and hopefully some of you!

So the first tip is to use plain label stickers! These are great because you can write all your key words, or even facts, on them and place them around on house hold items that you would use everyday! Fortunately, these are cheaper than labelling machines and you can repurchase them easily! As you can see I have used some English writing techniques on them therefor when it comes to my exams I will easily remember them!
Next, is Flash cards. These are extremely useful for when you are in your GCSE's because you will need to remember more and these are the perfect size to draw mini mind maps on or lists! They are colour full so it looks nice. Also, it will make revision that little bit more fun. In this photo I have used them for drawing mini mind maps and list!
When revising, if I'm in the mood I adore to make it neat, colourful and tidy so a great way to do this is to use lots of different coloured pens! I used to love pens so I have quite a lot but even if you only have a few you can make colour coordinated posters so that your eyes get attracted to it more so you'll read it! I like to store mine in big recycled jars, pencil cases and in stands! It helps to have separate pens/pencils from what you would use at school so you don't loose any.
Leading on from pens, you can use highlighters to underline keys words or info that is vital for your exams. This is good because when you go back to look at your books, those words will pop out to you and stay in your minds!
Following that, all of these pens and highlighters could create an amazing colourful mind map for you to brain storm all of the key information on. I tend to write these in notes because it takes less time and it will still make sense to me! Instead of sticking these in your books, like I do, you could stick them on your walls and before you go to bed you could read them!

Organisation is key for revising so I recommend purchasing some fun and vibrant folders to store all your revision in. The more colourful the better for me because they look really cute on your shelves. These are great because they will store all of your work so it will be impossible to loose them.
Something similar to these, are notepads which you can separate up into all your subjects so that they are easy to find- and then you can write key info or answer some math question or whatever you want in them. These are much smaller than folders which can easily go in your school bag!
Lastly, is my favourite because I may collect them...
It's post-it-notes. These are great because you can get them in any shape or size and you can stick them everywhere without them getting stuck. You can even get sticky note dispensers to make them easier to pull off.
Thanks for reading this weeks post, hope you enjoyed it!
I wish everyone good luck on their exams this week or whenever they are!
Comment down below what I should post next, (Greatly appreciated.)

Pamper Night

Hey Everybody!

I'm back again with my weekly post and today I am going to be sharing with you what I do when I decide to treat myself to a relaxing night in!
Before I start I would just like to mention that this is not what I would do every time a have a pamper night, (which is like 1-2 times a month) its just what I did on this particular night.
So, lets get started!

Firstly, I run a warm, cosy bath! (I never have baths because its long, but sometimes I'm in the mood for them.)
I added a bath bomb that I got from one of my best friends for my birthday (Check out Olivia's blog!) This bath Bomb is designed to look like a cupcake and makes the bath a really pretty blue colour!
Also, I add the Soap and Glory Clean On Me shower gel to make lots of light fluffy bubbles. Not to mention a gorgeous smell.
The last thing I add is these really cute Bath Pearls from M&S, which are really good- they heat up from the water and melt and add even more colour to your bath. So, I added 4 blue ones!
This is the finish product!!
Whilst in the bath I apply the Soap and Glory Flake Away scrub to my legs to deeply moisturise them and scrub of the dead skin... Lovely!
Fortunately, this product is really good because its not sticky and does the job really well.
Following that, I use Tresemme (Not sure on the name! sorry) Shampoo and conditioner. This is soo good because... well... I don't want to say anything, due to the fact a review will be coming of this and another shampoo & conditioner I use! +1 this if you want me to do this!
Once I'm out the bath, I use the Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Lotion to remove all my makeup from the day. This product is really good because it never fails to get that stubborn waterproof mascara off.

Then, I will smoother the Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter Body Moisturiser Cream onto my legs and arms. I would defiantly recommend this because it doesn't leave you feeling wet and it deeply moisturises.
Finally, I put my hair into one French plait to make my hair wavy for the next day! Comment, if you want a hairstyle video because I'm debating it!
Thanks for reading please feel free to leave a comment down below if you liked it or not!
See you next week!

Powder Foundation Review

Hello everybody!

Today, I am very excited to review my newly purchased Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation- in the shade Light Porcelain. I brought  this at boots for an impressive £6.99 along with a couple of other products, (so keep and eye out for a collective haul in the next couple of weeks!) Before I start I would just like to say that I know I have made a previous post (Spring School Makeup Routine) and I talked about a different foundation, well that was before I found out about this one so I'm sorry that it says that the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation is good for spring because this basically over rules it!
For starters, I was amazed at the outstanding coverage for a powder foundation because personally I have never reached out to powder foundations so I wasn't sure what the coverage would be like. However, in YouTube videos I had seen some bad reviews on certain powder foundations so I was pleasantly surprised that this powder foundation covers up the majority of my blemishes.

Secondly, on the front of the package it says 25 HR lasting. As you would have probably gathered that it does not last 25 HR but it does last for a long time I would say a good 9-10 HR. This is really handy because I don't know about your schools but my school toilets are disgusting, hot, stinky, busy, and unhygienic. Evidently, I attempt to spend as much time out of them as possible (Not including when I actually need a toilet.) This product really helps because I never would even have to think about topping it up and refreshing my face.

On top of this, it does not make my skin tinged orange which has happened to a certain someone I know reading this... *Wink Wink* Moreover it doesn't make my skin go pale either so  the colour is perfect for my skin tone.

Most importantly, this doesn't leave my face chalky as I am already pale so it really doesn't me a lot of favours to have a chalky face!

I'm sorry that this weeks  blog was slightly shorter than usual but I didn't really want to bore you on just one product so I thought that I was going to leave it there for you! Please leave suggestions down below  for what you would like me to post and I will try my best to post them.

Before I go Today is the day that mine and Jade's First collaboration post is going up so be sure to check it out on Jade's Blog. Hope you enjoy that as well!

School Morning Makeup

Hello Everybody!

Today, I am going to be posting my Spring School Day Makeup Routine!
Now, as its spring, I do not layer on the makeup as I like to have a fresh face ready for the  sunlight as I walk out the door so I will not be putting a full face on. Also, This is my individual opinion on makeup as my school has rules about makeup and how much you should wear so I'm not applying that everybody who reads this should do it because that may be a problem in your school- I simply just wanted to share with you guys what my preference is.
So, lets get started!

Firstly, I apply the MUA Matte Perfect Primer, applying several small dots on my face, before massaging it into my skin leaving my face ready for whatever hits it. This works really well because I find my makeup stays on for so much longer with the primer, even on a Monday!(I have PE first lesson.)

Next up, is my Rimmel London, Match Perfection Foundation; in the shade 100 Ivory. Applying it with my MAC 187 Stifling Brush. Referring back to my introduction I do not put much foundation on only bits to cover my blemishes etc. I squirt a blob onto the back of my hand and then work it in a little bit using my brush; afterwards, I lightly dab the brush all over my face,( making sure to only get the foundation on the white top section of the brush.) Finally, I move my brush in light circular motions round my face to work the liquid in.

After that, I will apply my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, that I have already done a review on, on a previous blog. *Wink, wink, go check it out* (Shade: 1 Fair.) As I have already applied coverage I will only be apply this under my eyes to get rid of my zombie under eye circles. I use the Mac Stifling Brush for this, as its multi purpose.

Then, I will apply my Translucent Perfect Light Loose Powder- to mattify my face and just to make my makeup stay on a bit longer. Again, I apply this with the mac 187 brush. I really like this, because its extremely light on my face, leaving it with a very needed matt face!

Next, I smoother the pink EOS, (I'm not sure on the scent so if anyone knew would they leave it in the comment box, it would be much appreciated.) This is perfect because its the perfect shape for my lips and is very long lasting.

After that, I  use the Maybelline New York Rocket Volume Mascara, which is the best mascara in the world, its extra lengthening and it barely ever clumps up- which I hate !! But before that, I just use a random mascara stick to brush through my lashes to make them look tidy.

Now...
Onto the eyebrows, so my brows take me ages and the first product I apply is my Anastasia Blonde Brow Powder Duo. I apply the darker shade to the bottom of my brow and the tail, and the lighter shade to fill it in. I use the Anastasia 7 Eyebrow Brush. To finish them of, I brush through my Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to secure them and fix them into place all day.
Next I apply my Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Balm in Robust Rhubarb to give my cheeks some colours. I just rub this in with my fingers because I don't have a brush for this!
Lastly, I will either apply my Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balm in the colour supreme sorbet which is very moisturising and subtle for school. Or, I will use my Mac lipstick in the colour Frost Angel which is extremely elegant.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks blog and please leave comments down below of what I should post next! ;D

Holiday Makeup Haul!

Hey Everybody!

So, to start of I am just going to say that I'm really sorry for not posting lately especially on holiday even though I said I would... I thought about it and realised that my holiday was quite personal and special so I didn't really want to put it somewhere anyone in the world can see it.
However, I will be posting regularly now, and today I am going to do a makeup haul for what I brought on holiday!
So lets get started!
P.S.This is in no particular order.
Firstly, I purchased the Clinique Chubby Stick, Moisturising Lip Colour. In the shade Supreme Sorbet. This was $12.00. I love this product because its extremely moisturising leaving a light pink tint on my lips; its perfect for the spring and summer!
However, I have to apply quite a lot to get a good coat, so its not very pigmented.

Next, I purchased the Clinique Chubby Stick, Cheek Colour Balm. In the colour Robust Rhubarb. This was $15.00. Amazingly, I can't stop ranting about this outstanding product. For starters, its got a beaming, glowing and warm colour that perfectly blushes my cheeks. I use it everyday, and I couldn't of chosen a better blush for spring! Finally, I don't have any negatives to this product so I would strongly recommend it!

Also, I brought a Mac lipstick in the shade: Frost Angel- for $20.00. As I set out to but this, in my mind I was looking for a natural day to day lipstick; and this is defiantly it. Its subtle and warm with a hint of shimmer. Lastly, its extremely moisturising and long lasting!

As well as this, I brought an Anastasia Brow Powder Duo- in the shade Blond. It was $20.00. Firstly, the packaging for this product is gorgeous, with a rose gold circle in the middle with the logo on it. After opening it up you see two delicate shaded of blond which I use both. Personally, I prefer slightly darker eyebrows to my blonde hair but not to dark. And, these to colours together are perfect with each over.

Then, I brought (to go with my brow powder) an Anastasia brow brush with a brush and a comb for my brow. This is a really good brush because its got the perfect angel and is quite firm so the power is applied extremely nicely. This cost $18.00. Finally, this comes in handy because its a two-in-one, meaning it does not take up much room in my bag when I'm out!

On top of all of this, I purchased the Anastasia clear Brow Gel to make sure my eyebrows don't fly off when I'm outside. I would recommend this because it does not become gloopy, the brush is the perfect size and its long lasting! However, sometimes when I apply it, it takes of a bit of the powder but occasionally that's for the better as I may be guilty of putting a bit to much on... whoops!

Well, that's all my makeup that I brought in California, hope you enjoyed reading this and please please please leave a comment down below for what I should post because I'm really stuck on ideas!!
